Suzanne was recently in Birmingham, Alabama speaking at Architectural Heritage. She re-connected with designer Tammy Connor, who recently featured At Home in her blog.

"A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending an evening with some of Birmingham’s finest design talent and one of my favorite interior designers, Suzanne Rheinstein. I had met Suzanne briefly last December in NYC. I was installing an apartment in Manhattan two weeks before Christmas, (which is quite a story in itself) and I was invited to a holiday book signing for her new book, At Home: A Style for Today with Things from the Past. If you don’t have it in your library, I highly recommend adding it! I was thrilled to see her again in my hometown, and spend some time discussing the current state of the design industry. In a time of mass production, bold “pops” of color, and mid-century modern trends, her work inspires me to stay true to classic principles of design. Suzanne, a native Southerner, is approachable, gracious, and genuine, all characteristics that translate into her beautiful interiors and other endeavors..."
